Bio: My artist alias is Miranda Adria. I'm a digital artist, specializing in photomanipulations, mixed media, photography, animation, 3D design, website design, HTML/CSS, and sometimes video. My art has been featured in several major art magazine and in a number of exhibitions. This past Spring, I was awarded my Bachelor of Fine Art.

Dolores O'Riordan - Black Widow This started out as my submission banner for the Midtown Fence Project for Art Basel in Miami, but I couldn't finish it in time for the deadline and submitted something else. Still, I knew I was on a roll with this one and decided to finish it. I painted those tentacles from scratch. Actual size: 80 A portrait of my OC Lady Helena, looking ever so lovely and peaceful, surrounded by her wonderful Hell Butterflies, and shedding a single tear. I am so so so proud of this painting, since I really pushed myself on this one. No references were used, and I only used round brushes (both hard and soft). Normally I would use the vector tool to make certain shapes (like the butterflies, for example). But this time, I painted each one without using the vector tool. I'm still too chickenshit to go full blown into color, though, which is why it's mostly grayscale. Honestly, I can't believe I painted this. But I guess that's what happens when I get reallllllly inspired. hahah.
