I have had a love of art since I was a child and I hope to always be involved in the arts in some way. I mainly work digitally now, but I return to the darkroom and to paint and pencils from time to time.

I teach classes in graphic design and photography at a local college and I freelance as a designer and photographer.

I took this photo earlier this week and decided to play around with it tonight. Using only my own photographs, I tried to create an image that conveys a sense of serenity, sexuality and mystique. This was just something that I was playing around with, so I thought I'd post it for comments. This is one that I've been working on, but I think that I'm finally finished. I may go back and adjust the waves around the tail a little. This piece was created using about 75 of my original photos. The biggest challenge was making the girl out of fire, but I was able to use some of the things that I'd learned in Advanced Photoshop to help with that. I hope that you like it. Please let me know. This piece is from a series of fairy tale images that I've been creating. The photos used in the piece are all mine. I appreciate your comments.
