Bio: I love bad puns, the worse, the better. My guilty pleasure is listening to bad pop music. I enjoy looking at pictures of baby animals, especially ducklings. I go out of my way to step on crunchy, dry leaves. I drink a zillion mugs of milk tea a day. I love all kinds of pretty things, and I hope my paintings will make your day a little prettier.

The legendary four beauties of ancient China. They have a very rich history and legend behind them, which I try to honor while giving them my own take. I use the image of an aristocratic woman from Japan's highly formal Heian period and placed her in a dark swamp to invoke a feeling of displacement. I try to keep the venus flytraps subtle as well. Most of all, I wanted to keep her expression soft and sad, as she is surrounded by death. I wanted to paint a hopeful picture. While she dreams, her weaving and dress comes alive!
