The tower and the Raven are actual photographs All elements, except the glass,which was created in programe,was made from the sleeping girl! Every once in a while I'll go thru my image folder and recycle,the inset is the orginal,done over a year ago,This does two things, gives me a new creation but also is a measure of how much I have grown as an digital artist :) Used the contest sunset photo and three of mine! Just trying different filters and techniques! This was done with photos except the sky which I did with depositing color down and using the smear brush........I want to wish each of you Happy Holidays! I know that you wont see this as I do.....and some will say its a mess.....lol.....thats ok! I used 3 of my photos one of the house and corals, one of trees down a lane, and one of the Rubies.......the Rubies is the first layer, I just discovered Effects /Distortion Effects/ Displacement Map.......after each layer, I either darkened and or erased.......then with either the darkening tool I hand picked the darker areas and made the tree trunks in some areas following the patterns the displacement had made......some areas I used white Just one of my favorites! This is a 1938 International pickup I resently accuired! Reworked this from one of the Magazine challenges on Paint Shop Pro many moons ago!
