I was given this assignment to create a typographic portrait of a specific individual that represents a part of your life that contributed to your growth as a person. I chose Zack De La Rocha specifically because he's an artist that speaks out against injustice and is not afraid to cause controversy. I grew up listening to Rage Against The Machine and just recently I started following his new band One Day As A Lion...This was my dedication to an artist that in media industry is not as recognized as a true MC...I wanted to do something unique for this one..Ive seen alot of typographic portraits that are awesome but the morgan freeman and steve jobs typographic portrait blew my mind. I wanted to do something similar so I recreated my own version of it and the end result is what you see. After many hours and days of patience and dedication Im satisfied with the end result.
