I had to do something quick for myself in order to feel better. The scene isn't that original. I tried to make it look kind of realistic (especially by chosing the colors). I haven't done many scenes like this before so I thought it was about time to try one again.

A concept painting inspired by the MYST universe. This is a made up so called Garden Age from URU where the plants are grown in glasshouses far up above the clouds to reach the sun.

A3 visual used for t-shirt of austraian metalcore band SOLE METHOD. Brief for this matte-painting was to create super-natural dark lava landscape with feeling of sort of fantasy illustration. Whole scene was build from scratch with using textures, tablet painting here and there and own 3d modeled rock formations.

We create ourselves infinite sets of realities in our lifetime. Defining the right from wrong is most the battle..
