3D Renders Gallery

Sculpted in Zbrush, composited in Photoshop.

I'm so glad to present to you the result of a lot of work on Vue and photohop in this science-fiction matte painting.
I really thank the talented and friendly Lum mate Tigaer for his help on this one. This one is probably the most achieve piece I've ever done so far.

The modelling of the sci-fi city has been entirely designed and modelled in Vue 9 by myself. It took me about 20-30 hours in the process playing with the nodes and filters following some pro tuts and stuff. Spaceships have been modelled and rendered in 3DSmax and all postwork has been done in Photoshop with quite a lot of little details here and there, textures and lights...!

I really hope you'll enjoy this one. The story is a city in the middle of the desert, swallowed through time by the sand. The title is of course in reference to Revenge of The Siths, so time now to find where is hidden the Jedi in the scene, mouhahahaaaa!!

After decades of drought the water on this planet was revered as sacred as it could only be found in a very few regions.

To protect the supply - huge fortresses were constructed to watch over the rivers. Massive dams were built to control the flow and enable a fair system of rationing to the worlds' population - life was very hard, many died and much of the land became desert.

Then one day the rains returned and water was available in abundance again. The world flourished and grew green and beautiful once more.

As a reminder of the dreadful dry days the ancient Waterfall Fortress has been preserved for all to see - many come here to gaze into the Pool of Remembrance and vow never to take even Natures' simplest gift of water for granted.

modeled in zbrush using zspheres and zsketch then refined model using sculpting techniques, posed using transpose, rendered different mat caps then taken into photoshop for background textures and post effects.

Some still believe that these are the remains of an ancient landing site for alien space craft, but this has never been proven.

It is hard to imagine for what other purpose they would have been constructed - their exacting proportions too precise to have been fashioned by the primitave inhabitants of this world.

Perhaps we will never know how and why they came to be ........
